Superbowl XLIV (2010)

Yesterday we had a wonderful day. First it started out at church where we had a wonderful Sunday School lesson and church service. I always love Super Bowl Sunday because it is also Baptist's Men's Sunday which means Kevin joins the choir for the day. Yes, you read that right...Kevin was in the choir. Because this is so monumental I always take pics.

Kevin's in the gray shirt on the middle row...can you find him? Where's Kevin?

The entire Men's choir...boy they sounded GOOD!

One more group shot

After church we came home to prepare some yummy food for our annual family Superbowl Party. Usually we have it at my in-laws house but this year we hosted it at our house because of all the toys for the boys. Basically everyone was rooting for the Saints...except Kevin and I. It's not that we did not want them to win but we like Peyton Manning AND we wanted to have some family competition at our party. For fun, Kevin and I pulled out his "old, worn" football jersey's from high school. Zachary thought it was hilarious and kept asking for more stories about his daddy playing foot ball. Everyone else was in their gold & black....STEELERS gear. Even though they were cheering for the Saints the only jersey Rachel will wear is Steelers. A shout out to Aunt Ann & Uncle Wayne for E & Z's jersey's. They love them. In fact Z had to wear his to bed last night.

Here's our pics from the event. It was fun!

E and Z enjoying their football cups with silly straws.
The spread....chicken wings, fruit & veggie tray, Mom's Rotel nachos, Chicken Bacon Pasta, Mini Sandwiches, chips, cupcakes, sugar cookie cake, etc.

Eating and watching the game

Can you tell the boys LOVED their cupcakes. I love this photo because you can see they are not only best friends but they are ornery too! Elliott learned how to give Bunny Ears!
Sporting our "Hawks" jerseys...rooting for the Colts.

Looks like so much fun! The food is the best part of the Super Bowl.
